❓Rapid growth , sports , injuries




👉🏼Pain , swelling , in one knee or both (30%)


😩 Pain ⬆️ Running. , jumping , kneeling , sports -football etc


😊 Better with rest, anti inflammatory gels or medications ( if allowed) , brace/ tape , education, pacing


🧐 Physical exam can diagnose if no other symptoms



🩺 Treatment -


🧊ice 2-3 /day


🙆 Stretching tight quadriceps


🏋️‍♀️ Strengthening exercises for quadriceps


Gets better in 1-2 years once the growth plate is ossified
