🤔How to manage pain❓

✅Heat

✅Ice

✅ Natural, herbal products

💊 Mild pain- Paracetomal and ibuprofen (if allowed) with meals as directed on leaflet

💊Moderate pain- Anti inflammatory medications if allowed Nurofen or prescribed Naproxen or paracetomal with codeine ( codeine + paracetomal) cocodamol or codrydamol over the counter or prescribed

💡Remember these medications with codeine cause constipation so hydration and laxatives are recommended

💊Severe pain – Strong medications prescribed by doctors or consultants , injections or in some cases surgery

✅Pain is not at all bad it gives us information about what is going on in the body and to act on that information

✅Occasionally when pain lasts for more than 6 months although everything heals in our body the nerves keep firing the signals , – there is nothing to be worried about like a broken car alarm warning us without any threat ‼️
