Bad Posture ❓

Many have been told to correct a bad posture 😩

Bad posture does not exist ❌

🤯Shocked ❓

🦴Bones and joints move with muscles.  

💪🏼Muscles contract and relax as per signals from our brain and we function.

🧘‍♀️Posture is alignment of your body in space against gravity.

🚶‍♀️It can be Dynamic – How we run, walk ,exercise and dance  💃🏻

 Or 🧍Static – How we stand, sit and sleep 🛌

👣Body is meant to move , all tissues in our body undergo stresses and strains – they are normal.

 💪🏼We are meant to move . As long as we move every 30-45 minutes when in static positions  our body loves it.

If you are sitting for too long , stand and vice versa 🤷🏽‍♀️as long as we do an opposite movement the tissues get stretched and reset.

🏃🏾‍♂️Movement can be a wiggle , stretches, strength training at gym, running , cycling or a simple walk to get a ☕️, anything you can do within your comfort and ability.

🚫Don’t invest in posture correctors or any other fancy gadgets that claim to make your posture better because perfect posture is a MYTH 😯

 ✅ Rather than thinking about good or bad posture think about movements

NO matter big or small just MOVE 🕺

Then why do we get pains 🤔 being in same position for too long it is because we have not moved as much as our body needs to

💡 Next time your tissues give you a reminder ( pain) just move and you will see the difference

There is no IDEAL posture, so KEEP MOVING when you can
